Yesterday, Makenzi had to visit a kid lung Dr. /pulmonologist. She did very well and got along great with the people/dr. there. She was a very big girl as she had to have two breathing treatments while we were there. The Dr. and staff are very nice and very thorough. She was diagnosed so far with "reactive airway disease". She is now on a treatment plan until our next appointment in 3 weeks. They sent us home with a home breathing machine and 3 different prescriptive meds for it. She has to have 5 treatments a day for 4 days and then 3 a day after that. She especially doesn't like the "stinky"medicine, but is doing great at being "big" and growing accustomed to her new machine (w/dinosaur mask).
